Can a Season’s Greetings Card Be Purple?
This year the company I work for has decided to make our own Season’s Greetings card for corporate clients. Our corporate identity’s colour is gradient purple. Can our Christmas card be purple or does it have to be green/red, snow blue, etc.?
Thanks!
A “seasons greetings” card can be any color you want!
And it’s actually better that it be more neutral than a red and green which is traditional for Christian Christmas. That way you include everyone, and aren’t make a religious statement.
And “Seasons Greetings” is also a good salutation/wish if you want to include everyone (rather than “Merry Christmas,” etc)…I think that’s the standard nowadays anyway for most businesses (unless they’re Christian businesses, or just don’t think about the implications).
I agree though that it might be nice to have it festive or elegant looking, perhaps with metallic silver or other metallic-color for the lettering or border, etc, or even white. And it could be a “winter” type scene, but wouldn’t have to be…any nature scene, for example, would be fine. Or even a picture of the building or something associated with your business.
