No matter whether you’re organising a party venue in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh or anywhere else, you’ll want to make sure that it’s memorable for all the right reasons.

Here’s what you’ll want to consider.

1. If you’re organising a hen or stag party, then you’ll need to remember that it’s not your night out, it’s for the bride or groom. Just because it’s not your choice of hen or stag party venue, food or entertainment, doesn’t mean that the bride or groom won’t enjoy it.

2. Arranging a birthday party might need to be done in secret, so be careful who you tell, and how you tell them. A phone top invite guests call might be better than announcing a party via your favourite social media site.

3. A corporate party will have different requirements to a stag or birthday party, and so you’ll need to impress customers or colleagues. Remember that you’ll be representing your company and so you’ll need to behave appropriately.

4. The party venue you choose will need to be big enough for all your guests. Why not see if you can have a private room, or even take over the whole venue if you want an even better party atmosphere?

5. Remember that you’ll need to arrange food for your guests. Perhaps you’ll want a 3 course sit down meal for a corporate party, whilst a finger buffet would be more appropriate for a birthday party.

6. With plenty of entertainment ideas available, you really will be spoilt for choice. What about fancy dress, or a James Bond theme, or taking a cocktail masterclass, or even having a 60s, 70s or 80s night? Think carefully about your theme for a corporate party, as not everyone might find it appropriate.

7. If you’re having your party in a different town or city, then you’ll want to book your accommodation in advance, so that you don’t run the risk of not having anywhere to stay. Why not see if you can get a good deal by booking several rooms?

8. Transport to and from your party venue should be booked in advance and a price agreed, so that you’re not waiting for taxis or a minibus at the end of the evening.

9. You’ll definitely want to make sure that you’re getting value for money when you book a party venue. By getting organised far in advance you may be entitled to a discount too.

10. If this all sounds like hard work, then why not see if the party venue offers party planners to arrange everything for you? All you’ll need to is turn up on time.

Now you know what to think about, your next party is bound to be a success.
