Why must corporate profits be shared with workers? They were paid for their services. They took no risks?

It is our president who said they must be shared. Profit sharing is fine if it is voluntary but I much rather see these corporations invest in more jobs.

That’s just socialist gibberish coming from a socialist with no real life experience. They took no risk, made no investment and were already paid. Profit sharing plans are good, so long as they are not one-sided. If the company does well, so should the workers. However, in leaner times they must take a hit too. After all, the company’s first obligation is to investors, not workers.
