What is a Corporate Identity?
I am planning to open a website so I have been talking back and forth with different web designers, one emailed me back saying this:
“Well before you start the website, you have to design a corporate identity. The logos etc.”
What exactly is a corporate identity? How do I design one and it looks like it will be more expensive if he created it him self. So any tips would be great.

The website I’m trying to create isnt a business… so is it still needed? Its just a regular website.
A corporate identity is things like logos, colour schemes, typefaces, photographic styles, and so on. It is all the elements that come together to create a consistent look and feel for a business.
Update: You’ll still need a look and feel for the website – even if there isn’t a business to be represented by it.
